Star Democratic (stylised as STAR DEM0CRATIC), officially Naru's Story about Star Democratic, simply as SDR (Star Democratic Reboot, originally were known as SD) is a supernatural horror science mystery fiction (full name: political supernatural psychological horror retrofuturistic science murder mystery fiction) novel series created by Rinne Yoshimizu and published by Yoshimizu Castle that plan to be release in 2026. A reboot media of 2009 comedy sci-fi series Star Democratic that exist from 2009 until 2014. The media was already work since 2016 and originally plan to release in 2020 but has delay to 2025 and again in 2030 and again re-back to 2026. The story heavily inspired by Higurashi: When They Cry with heavily influenced by Y2K problem, Iraq War and 2012 phenomenon while several element such as cold war-style spaceship, government and classic element have been introduce prior the story revamp in 2022 which Star Democratic Reboot is known to be NASA-style retrofuturistic science fiction set around early 2000s era culture, technology and pop culture.
Set in the alternate retrofuturistic world after a failed assassination attempt in 1962 which accelerate the two superpower on spending on space exploration were at the point, human have achieved a space nation and expanding of multi-national colonies across the galaxy prior 1982 where formation of United Membership (UM) was formed. While the UM is known for intergalactic organization of multi-national galactic nation. The UM buried their incident of 1983 that start to rot entire galaxy.
The story is about Naru's story perspective about what happen in twenty year ago prior the downfall of United Membership in 2022. The story is start with a man name "Malcom Gaurude" who rise up against the UM in 2002 in response to his daughter "Mia Gaurude" is mysterious died in Hamanisowa without any explanation after he came back from Aixon which led to many tragedy on this planet that soon became a galaxy-wide conflict between the UM, the pro-UM countries and the anti-UM countries across the galaxy, believing the death of his daughter to be a cursed of 2002 that bring entire galaxy into a endless conflict and unsolved.

Star Democratic was created by Rinne Yoshimizu as comedic/parodic science fiction novel that originally release in 2009 until 2014 before introduction of Touhou Galaxy Project. Star Democratic story is all about a failure galactic government known as Univeral Federation of Alliance that experience a mass chaos across the galaxy along with massive war with Disco Federation lead by Jason Michael who drove entire galaxy into fantasy knockoff. Since Touhou Galaxy Project have been introduction in 2015, the series was stop produce.
In 2018, she announced the reboot of this series in 2018 which plan to be release in 2020 after completion of Touhou Galaxy Project. However, the reboot series have been postponed multiple time from 2020 to 2025. The early Star Democratic reboot plot prior Higurashi was originally have story setting in year 2029 before change to year 1983, 1997, 2000 and then finally come up with year 2002 as story setting.
Like Touhou Galaxy Project, Star Democratic Reboot will set entirely a fictional world with planet that act similarly to Previous World with similar countries such as Federal Countries exist, and much like recently Touhou Galaxy Project that Rinne Yoshimizu wrote that Star Democratic Reboot will feature a psychological horror theme that serve as anti-war message instead of glorify militarism of old Star Democratic, all of this were due to ABM harassment in 2017. The reboot will have story plot inspired by Higurashi: When They Cry as murder mystery and supernatural horror combine with politic around Iraq War and science fiction theme based around 2000s era such as Y2K, 2012 phenomenon. The Reboot series doesn't have comedy and parody theme directly unlike the original Star Democratic, but may have inside joke, edgy and dark humor reference such as South Korea vs Italy in 2002 FIFA World Cup, Überlingen mid-air collision, as well as Higurashi's infamous chair throwing scene reference to 2008 George W. Bush's shoe throwing incident and Facebook's spying on voice chat (or inject an advertisement feed through voice chat and phone call).
Unlike Higurashi (and Classic Star Democratic) which have 1980s themes, the Star Democratic Reboot explore around late 1990s to early 2000s theme which not many fictional story beyond 2020s have explore much about this period at accurate strength.
Like Touhou Galaxy Project and Afterlife Expanding. Star Democratic will have four episode which she is official refer as "Qualogy" and will using Project YAMA as primary tool.
Setting
The United Membership, a supergalactic organization (parodies of United Nation) represent as central of galactic peace was formed in November 1982 by various human colony and alien planet by respresent in it's UM motto "Liberty, Independent and Equally". While most of nation praise the UM action for peacekeeping between nation that resolve the peace to the galaxy. Not many know the UM's dark secret that they hiding such as UM's peacekeeping force, "United Membership Armed Force" launch their first striking on (Portuguese-speaking) human colony of Brassora in June 1983 as to prevent what they believe to be a 'cursed of 2002', a cursed from a person who born since 1983 that believe to be the ultimate downfall of the UM. Although the UM is aware about the cursed, they keep violence and civil war continue on local planet and never try to intervene or resolve any conflict, they also neglect the Brassora's word and has their vice president got killed in UM's first meeting in 1983. The Brassora attempt to expose all these UM action including the massacre on Hamanisowa's entire population and seal off the planet in 2002 which prevent anyone from escape and trapped by the cursed. Because of Brassora people are speak in different language than most of UM member which make difficult to expose them directly and most of leader ignore Brassora's warned which lead them to declare war on UM for disrepect them.
The United Membership Armed Force (UMAF) is the primary enforcer of the United Membership founded in May 1983 and the largest armed force in the galaxy which contain with "United Membership Grounder" (UMG, the short name was a parody of Universal Music Group due to notorious on copyright strike which similarly how UMG is very quick launch their assault on Hamanisowa after Brassora military arrive) - a powerful ground force that maintain the planetary safety with 15 million active troops which most of them are male who easily offended and hothead, and "United Membership Spacer" (UMS) - a primary military of the United Membership contain more than 2,000,000 various warship (with most of them are less than 100 meter) with UMS Aixon, a 1600-meter Orion-class Space Station serve as flagship that use to operate several mass hysteria including one use against Hamanisowa people. The MENS (Mobile Enormous Number Soldier) is UM's elite force that rarely show up in the public which often happen once when someone is mess up with the MENS member.

The Reboot world of Star Democratic is similarly to real life world with exception of name replacement and history change which reused from Touhou Galaxy Project as part of TGP Basic Rule. Although Star Democratic universe doesn't connect to Touhou Galaxy Project/Afterlife Expanding story or universe but does connect as part of "Yoshimizuniverse" multimedia. After the failed assassination attempt in 1962 in Federal Countries President have accelerate the Federal Countries spend entire resource on space exploration along with rival countries, the Slara Union into the point the humanity has achieve the space nation and many countries start their own space exploration, as a result of several planet across the solar system and beyond has been colonies and one of them is Hamanisowa by Nepponese government which is one of earliest colony lead by Naru.
Although the human have achieve a technological advanced civilization and explore across the galaxy known as "Gensōginga" and meet other alien civilization, their spaceship and craft is still appear to be NASA-theme similarly those in cold war and SpaceX. Most of story is take place in milky way galaxy with many planetary government form across the galaxy.

Disco Federation is a group of planet alliance that mostly are Euro-style music group. Lead by Michael family, a well known Eurodance group since they have depart from Aixon since 1984. They operated several radio station with one of them was EurodanceFM and GalaxyWide Radio which located in Capital Disco. As well as infamous firearm company, Jackson's Toy which located in Tally. Their armed force is known as Disco Celebrities Force and their elite force which official name never mentioned, most of their troops were heavily resemble to Daft Punk design.

The main setting is Hamanisowa (mostly reference to main setting in Higurashi "Hinamizawa" which itself is based on Shirakawa, Gifu): a peaceful Japanese-style farming world in Hiiragi sector that far cry from advanced technology, governed by Hamanisowa Planetary State (HPS) whose Malcom and Mia live there. After Mia's mysterious death, several UM fleet arrive and launch a massacre on population and locked down entire planet, meaning nobody escape the planet as UM blockade it and declare a extremely hazard location which cause people stuck in the time loop and start to fight each other for no reason.
After entire Brassora starfleet has arrive on this planet following the destruction of UMS Aixon. Hamanisowa leave the United Membership which led this planet became a largest warzone ever, the "Operation Daybreak (a.k.a. Battle of Hamanisowa)" as UMG launch their assault with entire galaxy's fleet and military of both loyalist and rebellion arrive to this planet.

Krung Nok Kok is the second main setting in Rei - Project 317, a Thai-style villager planet (reference to notorious Thai villager "Ban Kok Kok" located in Dong Luang, Mukdahan province) that located nearby Hamanisowa after both Mia and Naru escape from UM. While the planet is quiet and remote, the planet soon became a notorious after a 3-year old child was murdered in 2008 which lead to many attention from news media while ignore the ongoing war on Hamanisowa, as well as UM who later find out that Mia was hide there.
Unlike Hamanisowa, the UM have completely render this planet uninhabitable in "Operation Rose Apple" after Mia have flee from this planet.

Aixon is the galactic capital of United Membership, a semi-ecumenopolis with large neo-futurism style high-tech city expand across the North Vesspucas where United Membership HQ, the galactic parliament, the MEGA Platform inc, the a massive social media "SixSense" (parody Facebook and SixDegrees.com) headquarter that secretly UM's spying operation, and FlexNews was located.
Brassora (a pun name for Brazil), a rich jungle environment planet rule by the Brassora Republic, a very unite nation believe to be menace to the United Membership which UM is secretly strike them first in 1983 and has been at war since until 2002 when entire fleet of Brassora arrive Hamanisowa and saw the UM's large armada just commit a genocide on Hamanisowa population which escalated into a massive galactic war with one goal, ending the UM's corruption and their bullying against them.
Bushimoon is a Koryon colony planet that involve in 2002 GIFA Galactic Cup has cause entire Matino Football team a serious injury by their team.

As Mia was murdered by unknown person, he experience the chaos on this planet as people are fight each other for no reason known as "Cursed of 2002", as well as mysterious person known by the name Naru have arrived where he face the time loop of repeatly see Mia died over and over again. He must find the way to save Mia and stop this tragedy from happen.

After the Destruction of UM Flagship "UMS Aixon" above Hamanisowa by Mia that root to all Hamanisowa's tragedy along with several Brassora fleet have arrive has trigger the largest war in United Membership history "Operation DayBreak" after Hamanisowa has withdrawal from United Membership in response to the UM's behind on Cursed of 2002 which cause UMAF bring most of their armed force to this planet to secure the planet and hunt down Mia. As war ongoing, a Disco Federation Jet "Euro Dance One" lead by Mr. Crocodile was shot down by UM's fleet as they accidentally pull the jet out of hyperspace to be believe as Hamanisowa escape ship.

Set in 2008. After Mia and Naru have escape from Hamanisowa to nearby planet known as Krung Nok Kok for almost 5 year since the tragedy. A child murder has occur which turn this remote and quiet place planet became a hot issue as several news media has attention to this planet instead of cover the ongoing war on Hamanisowa. As a result of resident on this planet has change. As resolving a child murder on Krung Nok Kok, the United Membership Military start to notice the existance of Mia on this planet which they start to pull their military to this planet to hunt her down.

Set in month prior the demise of United Membership in 2022 after several withdrawal of galactic member following the Hamanisowa's tragedy. As Aixon citizen, Dell have been treat poorly by most of UM supporter as he thinking he is not well educated due his family was anti-war protester in 2003. As his country is no longer welcome him, he decide to formed his own country to rebel against entire Aixon and more and more people start to support him which result in full scale war on Aixon that threaten to United Membership which their headquater was located there.
At the same time, the secret of Hamanisowa that UM was feared since 2002 was revealed and was indeed their ultimate downfall.

She is based on Higurashi character, Rika Furude. She is the primary main protagonist of the series and first victim of the murder scene.
- Naru, a mysterious person who arrive and work at Hamanisowa Shrine who help Mia from her death by United Membership by bring her soul from old world to new one which not many people saw her because she is a spirits that connect to the god, she was originally human part of Hamanisowa's first people arrive to the planet prior she died and nobody know how she died and not many people know about her past life. She is based on Higurashi character, Hanyū and she is titular character of this series.
- Director Konni Anhauser, the head of United Membership Armed Force and Admiral of UMS Axion who is obsessed with the cursed of 2002 and Hamanisowa's past history especially about his past relationship with Naru. He is based on 2012 antagonist, Carl Anheuser, he is the central antagonist of this series.

She however, is response for several disaster including the Hamanisowa's tragedy.
