Burand Diamond is a name refer to one of six WCJ-4000 series semi-submersible platform that use as front structure that serve as entrance to the main black site that escorted by nearby super heavy-lift ship "Boundrand Diamond" or subject BYFOND-0002. The main complex have four superstructure which house each Firaxus-Plutonium based reactor with "Delta" reactor at central structure is largest which could house entire electricity across the Goldia. Both Tamura and Karu has tie to this place in the past although their original purpose was erase at some point since Tamura was set free from the complex and Karu was send after her as Tamura was a key to get acess anything at the facilities including Karu's fully fuction and self-destruction mechanism.
As Burand Diamond start its self-destruction after ABM Force has overrun the complex. One of ABM strike force invade the platform and open fire on one of platform's driving bell that carrying Princess Shidori which result in explosion that pull her and the bell into the ocean along with other three victim of Academy Defense Force where Sakura was serious injured while Tamura was knockback by a bell that cause her magic to fade away and Midori who stand near door next to the bell was violently killed by different pressure as her shattered body was pour into the bell that Shidori was stand, remind her terrible fate about her prophecy she made in the past has became reality.
Following the explosion and secure Princess Shidori from the bell. Karu was anger to the existance of Burand Diamond has done to Shidori as the complex changed her forever from the incident which result in Karu open fire and sunk the platform along with Boundrand Diamond and four other platform with a spaceship.
Both Shidori's prophecies to Midori and Burand Diamond has causing rapidly behavior in Shidori from calm and shy to become depression and also aggressive as she attempt to murder someone who has involved with Burand Diamond.

The Burand Diamond was first introduce in Touhou Galaxy Project for the first time in Reisen Naka series. It was mentioned in Blanec's Lowee Empire as XJM Project's main black site. Its appearance was set to appear in second episode of Path of the Obstacle which play major role that shape all character's emotion especially Shidori who has prophecies a young girl in the past that end up in gruesome death.
Appearance:
Before the introduction of Burand Diamond in Path of the Obstacle. XJM Proejct's main black site appearance never been revealed despite the main black site was mentioned to be located in Goldia. The closest to its appearance was original Blanec's Lowee Empire and Rinne Somnium episode where XJM Project's main black site interior was scene but the location and name itself never been reveal.
In Secret XJM PROJECT File: Subject BYFOND-0001: Burand Diamond, it was revealed that XJM Project's black site that exist in other TGP continuites (as well as Afterlife Expanding and STAR DEM0CRATIC) was indeed Burand Diamond and they are all destroyed.
(Front Structure)
The front structure of Burand Diamond complex is inspired by infamous Byford Dolphin that serve as central platform (although the design is larger and thicker, and much more modern than its real counterpart, as well as has additional leg) with five additional offshore platform of similiar other Dolphin design that station along the main structure line and its super-heavy lift ship. According to TGP Author, the Burand Diamond platform is movable and never stay at same location.
(Main Structure)
The interior of Burand Diamond complex and its layer is inspired by Squid Game and Aria's Story with actual size is likely more than hundred kilometers which shape like its emblem. The interior is largely a library-like city town with Aira's replica house located at center of the complex. The complex contain four RBMK-type plutonium reactor on each section with reactor being called P-Alpha (which is reference to Piper-Alpha), Beta-P and Gamma-P, each located otherside of central reactor known as Delta-P reactor (also known as subject BYFOND-XJM) which is a name refer to different pressure and also reference to Chernobyl power plant's fourth reactor that explode.
