The "Gekino Bird" is named after Tomoyatalian mythological bird that native in the Tomoya. Many people in the Gamalatica simply called as Bird.
The Gekino Bird was adopted by Interstellar Federation as government seal in G.C. 1954. It's was the symbol of peace, freedom and unite as federation. The Gekino Bird seal have been show to the galaxy as peaceful government for the Interstellar Federation.

The Plum Flower was adopted into Yoshimizu family for many generation of Yoshimizu since the ancient time of Gamalatica and it's adopted into the Galactic Federation of Gamalatica since G.C. 6514 to replacing Empire of Gamalatica's Gekino Bird symbol.
Following the Fourth Realm have rose to power after destruction of Sonogami System. The ABM government have order this symbol to be prohibited in public and shot everyone who have rally with this symbol on sight along with anyone with Gekino Bird and Kiiro no Hana. The Plum Flower were later used by both Empire of Gamalatica , Free People Alliance of Gamalatica, and later Gamalaticania Alliance.

Cult of Personality in Gamalatica world were largely came from war time against the Against the Blanec Movement and the Fourth Realm with mostly from Yoshimizu family member such as Lady Rinne, Lady Rio, Lady Rema and Lady Kanade were noble example of person who worship by most of people. Praise among the general populance for being greatest defender of the galaxy for defeat the critical threat of the galaxy which teach in most of Gamalatican education even the Daigikai senator room show these portraits in the room.

The Curse of Yoshimizu was a Touhou Galaxy Project plot logic involve with Yoshimizu family protagonist and main character who died at the start or the end of the story whatever is killed or sacrifice like Rinne, Rio, Aiko, Rima, Kuon and Nana who were all Yoshimizu family have died at the end of story. Most of Yoshimizu family who likely to died were all have tragic memories like Rinne who lost all her family and she also was bullied by ABM online group or Aiko who lost entire family to Invasion of Tomoya by the hand of Star Conflict.
Because of Galaxy of Peace and Chaos never have a good happy ending, it's always to have a beloved character died at the end to serve a better good and to show how these character lost the most important thing and willing to do anything to restore these memories. Many character beside Yoshimizu have high chance of survive despite some of character like Mayu and Tsukara will died some point of the story. Tsukara never chance of surviving because of her counterpart also died as well.
This logic is entirely based on The Dark Knight word "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.".
