The XJM Project's subject BYFOND-001, unofficially known by Academy Defense Force as Burand Diamond complex is the primary black site of the XJM Project that test and contain the maximum technology of BYFOND classified, as well as other powerful weapon and technology that hide from public eye.

Burand Diamond is a name refer to one of six WCJ-4000 series semi-submersible platform that use as front structure that serve as entrance to the main black site that escorted by nearby super heavy-lift ship "Boundrand Diamond" or subject BYFOND-0002. The main complex have four superstructure which house each Firaxus-Plutonium based reactor with "Delta" reactor at central structure is largest which could house entire electricity across the Goldia. Both Tamura and Karu has tie to this place in the past although their original purpose was erase at some point since Tamura's escape from the complex and Karu was send after her for unknown purpose.

Burand Diamond, Boundrand Diamond along with four other platform were destroyed by Academy Defense Force after the escape.

The Burand Diamond was first introduce in Touhou Galaxy Project for the first time in Reisen Naka series. It was mentioned in Blanec's Lowee Empire as XJM Project's main black site. Its appearance was set to appear in second episode of Path of the Obstacle which play major role that shape all character's emotion especially Shidori who has prophecies a young girl in the past that end up in gruesome death.

Appearance:
Before the introduction of Burand Diamond in Path of the Obstacle. XJM Proejct's main black site appearance never been revealed despite the main black site was mentioned to be located in Goldia. The closest to its appearance was original Blanec's Lowee Empire and Rinne Somnium episode where XJM Project's main black site interior was scene but the location and name itself never been reveal. Burand Diamond is also mentioned in Afterlife Expanding as part of Project Isla which stand still even G.C. 52XXX.

(Front Structure)
The front structure of Burand Diamond complex is inspired by infamous Byford Dolphin that serve as central platform (although the design is larger and thicker, and much more modern than its real counterpart, as well as has additional leg) with five additional offshore platform of similiar other Dolphin design that station along the main structure line and its super-heavy lift ship. According to TGP Author, the Burand Diamond platform is movable and never stay at same location.

The interior of Burand Diamond complex and its layer is inspired by Squid Game and Aria's Story with actual size is likely more than hundred kilometers which shape like its emblem. The interior is largely a library-like city town with Aira's replica house located at center of the complex. The complex contain four RBMK-type plutonium reactor on each section with reactor being called P-Alpha (which is reference to Piper-Alpha), Beta-P and Gamma-P, each located otherside of central reactor known as Delta-P reactor (also known as subject BYFOND-XJM) which is a name refer to different pressure and also reference to Chernobyl power plant's fourth reactor that explode.

Lady Karu, also known as Haruka model-1-2014-1983 was 9-year old Garamita Federal President of the Gamalaticania Alliance. She is most advanced Gamalatican Artificial intelligence ever created by XJM Project under part of Harusu Project. Most people never realized she is android due to most robot in Gamalaticania galaxy are bulky, non-humanoid, metal and less intelligent since her model is bulit off biomechanic-like body material that give indistinct from actual Guardian Characters. However, she and all Harusu android can't transform into tiny fairy unlike Guardian Characters.

Known by XJM Project as subject BYFOND-2014A based on "DAL-2014" Harusu project which use android to power Gamalaticania Alliance Navy warship like Mashiro and Matsusaka-class. XJM Project was re-attempt to create another artificial life previous subject created from magical feather has escape 2000 year ago. She was program to be independent learning, movable hyper-computer and she no hesitation to execute the command if need such as sacrifice million to save billion. However, she later rebel against XJM Project as she realize the danger of Burand Diamond's existence following the disaster of Harusu Project that they send million or Harusu android to be destroyed in battle against ABM force and she escape away from battle after she saw many destroying Harusu android. Despite this, her protocol never truly erase.

She later became Federal President of the Gamalaticania Alliance after she wining the election as leader of centrism party "Democratica Party" before she became under attack by ABM force after they invade GA capital of Goldia. She later join the Academy Defense Force as Assault Rifle user because she is quick at close range combat.

Only few people knew she is android.

Although she is look young. Her real name is Aira von Bucherregal and she is actually over 3000 year old. As renowned child novelist from Celia region during her lifetime in Kingdom of Isla. She were famous for her own novel in G.C. 35XX before she passed away due to a rare illness.

She was later created by XJM Project at their primary black site of Burand Diamond complex through powerful magic feather that she once use to wrote her novel. She have no memory of her real Aira and was live under the XJM Project's instructions as subject BYFOND-1983D "Aira von Bucherregal" Artificial Gamalatican if she can replace real Aira. She however, escape from Burand Diamond complex through old driving chamber connect between oil platform and its main complex beneath where she escape to Hanasawa Empire and blend with Guardian Characters society as "Tamura Hon" over there for over 3000 year.

The XJM Project was first introduction in Touhou Galaxy Project since its first episode of Blanec's Lowee Empire release in 2015 as secret research project that develop and test various orthodox technology that opposite to standard function.

The XJM Project is inspired by real life Area 51 that forbidden from public eye, as well as SCP Foundation although their purpose were different but they does collect all anomalies and rare item across the galaxy where they classified their important. Unlike real life Area 51. the XJM Project's main black site never been revealed until 2025 which later known as Burand Diamond complex which located in Eta Trench.

According to TGP Author, the Burand Diamond's appearance was plan to be revealed in Path of the Obstacle episode which plan to release in 2026. She mentioned that Burand Diamond's appearance is taking inspired by the infamous Byford Dolphin with element of Aria's Story and Squid Game due many reference. As this continuity, it will be the biggest in the series.

XJM Project play a minor role prior Reisen Naka series as nothing more one subject at the time.
