As ABM force invade Goldia. Shidori is among the primary target for killing as she has important to the Gamalaticania government where her death will be use to blackmail both royal family and the Gamalaticania Alliance into submitted. Shidori is later under protection of Academy Defense Force by Student President Nana who taught her to use a gun to protect herself while keep her less trouble to the group.

Her full name was Shidori Dainōji of Imperial House of Dainōji. Her title was Hanasawa Princess Shidori. General Populace called her simply Princess Shidori. As head of Sonogamism religion, she has title as Shrine Maiden Shidori.
Appearance
Shidori's physical appearance is fairly-light skin with purple eye and silver-colored long hair. She is taller than her greater grandmother Tomoya over 158 cm. She has average female body with C cup.
Shidori always wear a Shrine Maiden costume consist of kosode and hakama. When she perform Kagura dance, she worn Chihaya and Mo with white and purple flower on each side and seal of Hanasawa at the center which resemble to Hanasawa flag. Her golden crown has Dharmachakra symbol of Sonogamism religion with four Gamalaticania letter of "Four Noble Truths" on each side.
After the event of Burand Diamond complex. She is now worn a white sailor school uniform from Byfond Dolphin Academy that Nana got from the complex which she find suit her perfectly as it meant for her.
Equipment
For most part, she only have item that use to perform Kagura which use to increase morale to both Nana's Academy Defense Force and the Gamalaticania Alliance Military. While her wooden fan (sensu) were use to defend herself from Abomon attack, she also have a very rare kanata known as Masamune that capable of cut anything even starship material, she use the sword to block the Abomon attack but not kill since she can't attack or kill a creature due to some prohibited in religion. She also receive a Compression Pistol from Nana with exchange of her kanata were she taught her how to shoot the gun. While she only use to stun them for most part, she does set the gun to lethal mode when serious decision was take.

Shidori have ability to read and understand people's fate based on her prophecy. While her prophecies only to warn a possible future. At her 8-year old, she made a prophecy to a young girl that would end up gross dismemberment, this cause a young girl to panic and cry. Other people start to rumor that she cursing her. This make her being outcast by everyone at her age, because of this, she was never happy since then until Nana show up were she ask her about prophecy which Shidori imply, you would get shot someday. Still, Shidori want to find that young girl in her propchecy if she still alive somewhere which Nana agree to help her find it and prevent it, or otherwise it would make her become depression and likely to commit suicide if the girl is end up died in the way she can't look up to it because her prophecy told that she will witness young girl's death and she will drown afterward.
While she never have skill of using sword in the combat. Once she touch Masamune, she is capable of fight against hundred of Abomon troops or even her duel with Nana.
Shidori also have mysterious power that only happen when her eye was completely blank purple.
Behavior
Shidori is very shy and worried as she was isolated by the others due to her prophecy to a young girl which she never smile since. Since she has memory of Shido in the past, she have no hesitate to see a man if she offer to.
Behind the Scene
General
Shidori Dainōji was introduction to the Reisen Naka series as one of two main protagonist of the series (other being Nana). The character's name and appearance is resemble on Date A Live character, Shido Itsuka who has female counterpart "Shiori". The older version of Shidori is appear to be dark blue hair appearance, and Afterlife Expanding appearance to be dark grey hair based on Tomoya Dainōji (until it was retcon by Reisen Nana counterpart). Her appearance in Reisen Naka was Silver hair instead of dark grey hair unlike Tomoya who also appear in this series which she almost inspired by Shirona Naruse from Summer Pocket who also a Shrine Maiden and Prophecy thing who also dislike to seeing a terrible fate because of her prophecy. There is also important event that based on that visual novel that involve with drowning (and Burand Diamond).
Her first introduction of the character is nothing but damsel in distress who nothing but weak link to the Nana's Academy Defense Force group that often to protect her which lead to notorious phrase "Protect the Princess" being frequently use by the group when she is in danger from ABM attack. While everyone in the group blame her for weak and cause many trouble, Nana defend her from being useless by taught her how to use a gun and keep herself not to worry about prophecy she made that haunted herself, as the result, she start to become stronger into the point she overperformed Nana.
Masamune sword:
Shidori's Masamune sword was introduce since its debut in original Blanec's Lowee Empire as one of the sword that Blanec use in fight against Neutral Alliance. The sword is once again reintroduce for both Memory of Kagami and God of the Gamalatica episode as Sakura Hana's primary sword. The sword is show in the cover of Blanec's Lowee Empire where Nana hold around her back and through her hair.
According to Shidori. The sword was made by a soul of Dainoji queen "Murasame" who sacrifice to be the protector of the sword which use to protect all evil in the early Kyotomo Kingdom. As there is a spirit that guard the sword and Shidori (beside Kotori and Mayu).
Burand Diamond:
Shidori's byfond relationship with Burand Diamond is heavily involved with something she was witness within the prophecies she made in the past related to young girl.

- Shidori, Haru and Luna are only known character with white (or silver) hair in Touhou Galaxy Project series.
- Although she is no longer connect to his counterpart Shido, she still has his memory once she was one with his body.
- She is only person who know everything about old timeline and other universe which see in her drawing.
- Although she worn a Shinto Shrine Maiden costume and perform Kagura. She was Buddhism (Sonogamism) and worn a golden crown with Dharma wheel symbol and Four Noble Truths. One scene where Shidori perform Kagura dance ritual has different priests from several religion (including different branch of Buddhism) were visit in her throne room.
- According to Shidori's behind the scene talk in The Introduction. She really dislike General Dienes the most (other than Nill William) due to his racism against other species who believe the Bug War happen because he order the Moon station not to open fire on astronoid that about to hit the UCF's capital because he want to use this as justify for war against them. She also glad that he was perished after Stardoor's flagship USS Samantha Caronia crashing into him (along with entire bridge crew of VAF Asesinato).
